Publications
The Intelligence & Counterterrorism has several publications available on the DPS web site, including:
- Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives: This product is an online set of wanted posters that provide information regarding 10 fugitives who have been identified as Texas' 10 most wanted.
- Online Missing Persons Bulletins: The Missing Persons Clearinghouse maintains two online bulletins: Missing Persons and Abductors. Both bulletins are available on the Clearinghouse web page.
- Online Unidentified Persons Bulletin: The Unidentified Persons and DNA Unit maintains an online bulletin regarding unidentified persons. It is currently located on the Missing Persons Clearinghouse web page.
- Missing and Unidentified Persons Statutes (2007-08) (PDF): This publication is a reference guide for law enforcement and citizens to familiarize themselves with state and federal laws pertaining to missing persons. These laws will provide information on statutes relating to abductions, endangered missing, disabled missing, runaways, custody orders, unidentified persons, and other areas of frequent inquiry.
