Registration process

Texas Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) who wish to acquire 1033 Program property must be approved for participation and currently authorized to use the 1033 Program on an annual basis. In order to apply for participation, LEAs must submit an Application Packet to, upon approval, create accounts in the FAMWEB, AMPS and RTD Business Portal websites and attend a mandatory training class. Once an agency obtains property, an updated Application Packet along with a physical inventory of all property received, must be submitted annually by December 31 (as well as every time there is a change in administration and/or agency contact information).
