CAPTURE DETAILS: Josue REYNA, added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives list in August 2012, was taken into custody on November 18, 2014, by the Del Rio Police Department at the Del Rio International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas.

As a pedestrian, REYNA attempted to enter the U.S. from Mexico by using the U.S. outgoing toll booth. REYNA was questioned by officers and his identity was confirmed by US Customs & Border Protection (CBP). On November 20, 2014, REYNA was extradited back to Lubbock, Texas, where he was booked in the Lubbock County Jail.

REYNA was born in Lubbock, Texas, and had a lengthy criminal history. On November 21, 2011, he was identified as the suspect responsible for firing several shots at an occupied residence. On the following day, the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The sheriff’s office issued a second warrant for his arrest on March 14, 2012, for Retaliation.

The arrest was not the result of tip information received, so no reward will be paid.
