Coordination Program

Executive Steering Committee - Serves in an advisory capacity, providing recommendations to the Texas Department of Public Safety, regarding operational aspects of the State Network.  Members include:

• Sheriffs’ Association;
• Police Chiefs’ Association;
• County Judges and Commissioners Association;
• Texas Association of Broadcasters;
• Association of Regional Councils;
• Texas Department of Transportation;
• Office of the Governor;
• Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services;
• Alzheimer’s Association (Texas Chapter);
• Texas Department of State Health Services; and
• Texas Department of Public Safety.

After-Action Review Board - Meets regularly for internal reviews, regarding past activations of the State Network. Members include:

• National Weather Service;
• Texas Association of Broadcasters;
• Texas Department of Transportation;
• Office of the Governor;
• Texas Lottery Commission;
• U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation;
• U.S. Customs and Border Protection;
• Independent Bankers Association of Texas; and
• Texas Department of Public Safety.

Regional Coordinators Summit -Convenes once a year to facilitate communication and information sharing between regional program coordinators promoting a seamless statewide network.
