AUSTIN – The reward for Benjamin Dominguez, 47, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to $20,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of May. The Barrio Azteca gang member has an extensive criminal past and is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
Dominguez is believed to be a transient, and he has lived in El Paso; Socorro, Texas; Las Cruces, N.M.; and Modesto, Calif. His criminal history includes indecency with a child, assault causing bodily injury, possession of a controlled substance and burglary. Dominguez was previously featured by the U.S. Marshals Service during Operation Guardian, a national initiative that specifically targeted the country’s most dangerous noncompliant sex offenders. Dominguez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He has been known to use several aliases, and he has numerous tattoos on his arms, left wrist and neck.
Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
