AUSTIN – Reynaldo Ybarra Zamora, 59, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after being arrested on Tuesday in Hays County. Zamora has a violent criminal past and was wanted for aggravated kidnapping, burglary of a habitation and evading arrest/detention.
Kyle Police Department officers located Zamora walking along IH-35 after receiving a motorist’s report of a man lying in the grass along the highway. Zamora was arrested without incident; and no reward will be paid as a result of this arrest. So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested 29 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including 10 gang members, and $71,500 in rewards has been paid for tips that resulted in arrests. The cash rewards are funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.
