Most Wanted Sex Offender Apprehended in Dallas

AUSTIN – Bruno Keith Carmona, 32, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, is now in custody after being arrested on Wednesday in Dallas. Carmona has a violent criminal history and was wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and probation violation.

Following investigative leads, investigators located Carmona on Wednesday afternoon at a residence where he was arrested without incident. The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division and U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force assisted with the investigation. The arrest was the result of a tip, and a reward up to $3,000 will be paid. So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested 32 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including 10 gang members, and $77,500 in rewards has been paid for tips that resulted in arrests. The cash rewards are funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.
