Advanced Training Courses

Advanced Polygraph Training Course
April 7-11, 2014

The Advanced Polygraph Training Course is presented by members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Polygraph School faculty and will be held at the Texas DPS Polygraph School located at 6001 Guadalupe Street, #M1, Austin, Texas, 78752. There is no cost for this course but students will be responsible for their own meals and lodgings in Austin. This course is open to full-time law enforcement and government polygraph examiners. To register, contact Felicia Ruiz at Felicia.Ruiz@dps.texas.gov to obtain a copy of the APT application, which must be completed and returned to Felicia Ruiz. The purpose of this course is to refine the theory, techniques, and test formats that the Texas DPS Polygraph School introduces during the Basic Polygraph School through casual interaction with examiners who have had at least one year of field experience. Senior Polygraph Examiner Certification Course

The Senior Polygraph Examiner Certification Course is presented by the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) and will be held at the Texas DPS Polygraph School located at 6001 Guadalupe Street, #M1, Austin, Texas, 78752.   There is no cost for this course but students will be responsible for their own meals and lodgings in Austin.  This course is open to full-time law enforcement and government polygraph examiners.  To register, contact Felicia Ruiz at Felicia.Ruiz@dps.texas.gov to obtain a copy of the NCCA Continuing Education Application, which must be completed and returned to Felicia Ruiz.  For an overview of the topics that may be covered during the course, click on the link below for a sample course schedule:
