Private Security Bureau
On October 18, 2011 the Public Safety Commission approved several administrative rules pertaining to the Private Security profession. Among these rules was Texas Administrative Code Rule 35.141, pertaining to the level III training of commissioned security officers. As a result, Regulatory Services Division will accept the previous level III training until December 1, 2011. Upon which time, the new 40 hour level III course will be the only curriculum accepted.
