Individual Training Archived Records

As of December 2007, as part of data cleansing, PSB removed expired companies/schools. Some individuals who worked for those expired companies or attended training at expired schools were affected. The result of this clean up means that when a PSB Individual Search is performed, some individuals who are currently employed or seeking re-employment in the security field may not be displayed if they were tied to an expired company/school in any way.

There are two options for verifying Individual Training:

1) If the Individual wishes to have his training displayed through the web PSB Individual Search results, then they need to retake the Level I, Level II or Level III training tests. Once the tests have been taken with a passing score and the paperwork has been forwarded to TXDPS PSB staff, the individual’s training will be posted on the web. The PSB link for Testing and Training can be found at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/psb/testing

2) Companies may directly contact TXDPS PSB Licensing staff via phone or email to request verification of an Individual’s training status.
