Conference Registration
All registrations must be received by October 11, 2013. Space is limited and filled on a first come basis. You will receive an automatically generated email that states your registration has been accepted. Acceptance of your registration does not guarantee a spot for attendance. You will receive an attendance confirmation letter at the email address provided on the registration form. Please contact the Conference Registrar if you do not receive a confirmation letter via email within three business days.

Conference registration is free; however, costs for meals, travel (to include shuttle to and from the airport), and accommodations are your responsibility.

Please email SORC@dps.texas.gov in the event you are unable to attend or you would like someone to attend in your place after your registration has been accepted.  Please include the name(s) of the individual(s) that are cancelling or substituting in the email.

Please direct any questions or comments to the Conference Registrar.

Training credit will be available for attending this conference. The number of hours credited are at the discretion of the accreditation entities (TCLEOSE, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Texas Juvenile Justice Department, etc.).

You will be given a class attendance form with your registration packet. This class attendance form is your responsibility. Duplicate forms cannot be issued. You will only receive attendance hours for those sessions that you attend. Your class attendance form will be collected at the end of the conference. These forms will not be accepted by mail.

Shortly after the conference, you will be emailed a certificate reflecting the number of hours that you attended along with a link for an online conference evaluation. Both of these documents may be required to report education hours, so plan to print out the certificate and online evaluation.

Submission of training hours or certificates to accreditation entities will be the responsibility of the attendee. DPS will NOT be submitting training hours on behalf of the attendees to any accreditation entity.

Contact your agency's training coordinator before the conference to ascertain what additional information/documentation is required to report continuing education credit to the appropriate accreditation entity on your behalf. You will be responsible for submitting these training hours, through your agency, to receive credit earned.
